Escape Road Police Chase Gameplay
Drive through a procedurally generated city and desert while police vehicles try to surround your car. Traffic, road layouts and escalating pursuit units keep each run moving. Your wanted level can rise to seven stars, bringing faster pressure and heavier units into the chase.
Drift to change direction, slip past traffic and avoid getting boxed in. Survive longer to build your score, collect cash on the road and earn milestone rewards. When the police finally stop you, take your best run back to the menu and try again.
Unlock Cars and Explore the Garage
Cash can be spent on the in-game mystery machine to unlock eight cars across Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary tiers. Each car has different driving performance, and the garage lets you inspect your collection and choose which vehicle to take into the next chase.
The game moves between city blocks and desert terrain, with landmarks such as bridges, stadiums, dunes, ruins and stunt ramps. Use jumps to get over roadblocks, collect airtime bonuses and keep the pursuit behind you.
Escape Road Controls and Survival Tips
Use A and D or the Left and Right arrow keys to steer. Press any steering direction to begin a run from the menu. Hold S, Down or Space to brake. Press P or Esc to pause. On a touchscreen, tap the left and right sides of the screen to steer.
Keep moving when police approach, leave room to drift around traffic and watch for jumps that can clear a blockade. Braking can help with a tight turn, but getting surrounded is dangerous. Cash, top score, unlocked cars and the sound setting are saved in the current browser.
Is Escape Road a GTA or Grand Theft Auto Game?
No. Escape Road is a separate arcade police-chase driving game, not Grand Theft Auto (GTA). Searches for Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V or GTA 5), Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA Online), Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, or Grand Theft Auto: Vice City refer to Rockstar Games titles; Escape Road is not one of those games and does not use their characters, locations or stories. If you were searching for a short getaway-car challenge rather than an open-world crime game, you can play Escape Road here for free.
